About Me

You can call me Night! My pronouns are he/him/his, and I'm the writer behind this website.

I'm in my mid 20s, White, transmasc, bi- and demisexual, physically Disabled, mentally ill, chronically ill, chronic-pain-having, and neurodivergent.

I graduated from college in 2024. I now work in healthcare, but I am not a healthcare practitioner, so do not come to me for medical advice.

I'm a French-second-language speaker trying desperately to achieve fluency. I hope to get my Master's degree in France when the time comes.

I've lived in the Midwestern United States my whole life.

I love books, tea, cozy video games, fibre arts, My Chemical Romance, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Shaun the Sheep, Lilo & Stitch, autumn leaves, scented candles, stuffed animals, flannel, Crocs, learning new skills, British panel shows, smutty fanfiction, punk music, wordplay, vampires, low-resolution family photos, shortbread cookies, ergonomic computer setups, physical media, YouTube, and animals (including humans).

I dislike capitalism, fascism, injustice, colonisation, plastic, surveillance and policing, messes and clutter, scratchy tags on the necklines of shirts, bulky seams on the insides of socks, linguistic prescriptivism, one-size-fits-all approaches to complex problems, the lack of public transit in the United States at large, wisdom teeth, and sports--yes, all of them.

A one-year-old Night sits on a dark burgundy sofa. He is wearing a white hand-knit earflap hat, fluffy baby blue booties, magenta leggings with a small yellow floral print, and a black and white cow-print jacket. He has an unidentifiable expression on his face, eyes narrowed as if mid-blink.
